Founded in 2021, Mitten State Maintenance LLC was born out of curiosity, imagination, and a passion for making things that are both beautiful and functional. With Nick's passions being tile setting and woodworking, he decided to incorporate both into his business.

Growing up with a father in the trades, he spent most of his summers on job sites from a very young age. After being exposed to working with his hands, he fell in love with the idea of making things. He has vivid memories of going to jobs with his dad and being told that he could use scrap wood to make anything he pleased while his father worked. He took those words to heart and has spent countless hours designing and building everything homeowners and builders can dream of.

Nick recently moved to Burlington, Vermont from Marquette, Michigan. He decided to bring his business to the Green Mountain State. As an ode to his home state, he also decided to keep the name Mitten State Maintenance LLC. Unfortunately, because of the move, he lost his woodshop and had to discontinue the woodworking side of his business. The silver lining is that he is able to channel all of his energy into the Tile Industry.
